The Inclusive Excellence Unit
The Inclusive Excellence Unit (IEU) facilitates the attainment and sustainment of the capacity for exceptional talent. The Inclusive Excellence Unit is committed to enhancing the well-being, psychological safety, and success of GTRI employees and the communities that we serve.
For the IEU, inclusive excellence is collaboratively working together across different function areas to support excellence through innovation. Innovation is best attained by the vast range of thoughts, backgrounds, viewpoints, and lived experiences of its workforce and the people we serve.
Innovation flourishes in organizations where people experience a sense of being valued, belonging, included, and treated with all aspects central to human dignity.
The inclusive excellence framework that the Inclusive Excellence Unit embraces centers on inclusive access to opportunities; create a climate and community of belonging with colleagues and the surrounding communities; connect people through education programs and services for success at the local, state, national, and global levels; and support an infrastructure and alignment of resources that facilitate thriving through communications, innovations, policies, and actions that are intentionally and strategically inclusive. This is all in an effort to support the missions and visions of Georgia Tech and Georgia Tech Research Institute.
