ICEHAMMER is a heterogeneous research cluster located at GTRI. It is comprised of 88 Intel, AMD, and IBM multicore servers with a total of 3832 CPUs, 24 TB of memory, 84 NVIDIA GPUs, and 890 TFLOPS.  It is attached to a 350TB distributed filesystem and 35TB of flash memory via a Mellanox 100 Gigabit Ethernet network. The cluster is managed with Cobbler and Puppet. Since FY14, GTRI labs have invested $1.6M in the ICEHAMMER platform. Today the system serves 240 users and 50 monthly active users.
